Every bodywork session is tailored to each individualized needs of your horse. I integrate multiple different techniques and therapies, based on what your horse is presenting and what their responding best to. 

Therapeutic techniques include:

No single bodywork session is the same. Expect your first session to last about 1.5 hours. Follow up sessions typically range between 1-1.5 hours.

This service is specifically designed to prep and warm the muscles, prior to an event or help them recover after an event. During this session, no trigger point therapy or deep pressure will be used. Instead we will focus on fluid, blood circulating movements and passive stretching. These sessions typically last 1 hour.

Lymphatic massage is specifically designed to help open the lymph system and restore proper functionality. Often times, horses with compromised immune systems or injury are prone to lymph pooling. This can affect the lower limbs, cheeks, flank and more. Equine Manual Lymph Drainage has been proven to help restore proper circulation and decrease edema. Each session may look different depending on your horses presentation. Expect this session to take 1-1.5 hours.

Homework lessons are designed to help teach you and your horse how to do your prescribed homework exercises. This may be performed in hand or under saddle dependent on exercises prescribed. A combination of both stretching, biomechanics and physiotherapy may take place. This session will last roughly 1 hour.

Required for first time clients. Includes palpation, a thorough Q & A to get to know you and your horse better. Goal discussions, flexion tests and gait analysis will also be performed. I may also opt to check your horses feet or teeth, if I feel it's warranted. Evaluations may also be applicable if  your last appointment has been over 6 months. Evaluations take about 30 minutes.

$3 per foot

Additional fees may apply dependent on type of tape used and location of application.

Travel fees will be split amongst participants. Appointments over 60 miles MUST have at least 2 participants. Please inquire for distances over 100 miles of Southgate, MI.
